Prayer and Liturgy

“Prayer is the raising of one’s heart and mind to God.”

St John Damascene

At St. Marie’s, the children are taught traditional Catholic prayers in certain year groups. These can be found in their Learning Journals. These prayers are used as part of Collective Worship, to develop children's knowledge of prayer and to continue to develop their understanding of what the words mean to us as Christians today. Click on the photos below to see the prayers for your year-group.
