Wednesday 27th January

Today we would like you to think about how you could create a role play area in your house! We know how much you miss using the role play area at Nursery and thought you could have a go at creating your own at home.

We would like you to create a toy shop using your toys from home. We have provided some signs that you can print out at home and some price tags that you can write your own price on. If you don't want to use your own toys there is a sheet with already priced toys that you can cut out and sell in your shop.

Do you remember the coins we had in our till at Nursery. You could use real coins, pretend coins or even something small like piece of pasta or lego blocks. Pretend that they are worth 1p each and ask your mum, dad or siblings to come to your shop and choose a toy to buy. Look carefully at the price , how much is it worth? ( up to 10p , you may want to begin with up to 5p ) Count out the coins , did they use the right amount? Check with the price tag.

Have fun creating  your toy shop role play and don't forget to send your pictures to Mrs James via email or teams.
