Thursday 28th January

Today we would like you to think about different types of foods. Print out the food cards and talk to your family about what they are. If English is your second language , do you know the names of the food in both languages? Which of these foods do you like? Which ones do you not like? Sort them into 2 piles. Foods I like, foods I dislike.

Which ones are healthy foods and which ones should we only eat a little bit of? You could sort them into 2 piles, healthy and unhealthy.

Listen to the song ... Do you like broccoli ice cream? Then have a go at creating  your own mixtures of food, see instructions below video.

Do You Like Broccoli Ice Cream? | Super Simple Songs

Print out the 'do you like sheet' and the example. Draw 2 foods in the top 2 boxes that you like. Then draw them together in the bottom box ( see 'do you like example' if you are unsure ). Do these foods work together? Do you think it would be nice?

Get an adult to help you write down which food items you have picked. You can cut and stick the pictures if you find drawing tricky.

Don't forget to send us a picture of your food mixtures.
