Monday 1st February

Today we have entered a new month. Make sure you look on our maths meeting page for a months of the year poster and the months of the year song. Which season are we in?

Today we would like you to listen to the story of the rainbow fish.

Before you start the video ask your child.. Have you ever had something that some else wanted? ( a toy , something to eat? )

Play the video.

Stop the video at different parts and ask your child if they can guess what will happen next. Why do they think that?

What do you think the rainbow fish should do?

At the end , ask your child.. Did you enjoy the story? What was your favourite part?

Today we would like  you to be creative and make your own Rainbow fish Aquarium. You can choose how you want to present this , below are some ideas. You could use a paper plate, an old cereal box or have a look in your recycling with an adult , what could you use?

Make sure you include the rainbow fish in your aquarium. You can use our fish cut outs or you can make your own.

Have fun and don't forget to send your photos to Mrs James. :)
