Re-watch 'Here We Are' Story by Oliver Jeffers

Look at the picture of Oliver Jeffers, the author and illustrator of this book. He is holding his baby son, called Harland. He wrote this book to teach Harland about the world in which he would be growing up. This page speaks directly to him. How have you changed since you were a baby? Once, you were like the baby here and you couldn’t talk, but now you have learnt to use words. What else could you not do when you were a baby but you have learnt to do now?

This is a picture of thoughts inside a child's brain. What might they be thinking of? What questions about the world might they have?
