Activemark, awarded in 2004 by Sport England, re-awarded each year from 2006 to 2008 by the DCSF, is for the high quality of our PE and sport. We were County football champions in 1999 and 2000 and in each year from 2005 to 2008 reached the finals of County Cricket Tournaments. We have also in recent years celebrated our pupils' successes in writing, art and environmental competitions. Our care for children with special educational needs is matched by the achievements of our more-able pupils, with some in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2008 winning scholarships to Princethorpe College and to Rugby School , and the ever-increasing number of former pupils gaining degrees at universities.
In 2004 the Arts Council of England awarded us Arts Mark Gold for the exceptionally high standard of our arts curriculum; this was re-awarded in 2007, placing us in the top 650 schools of all types and phases in England .
In 2008 we received a national award for the quality of our Extended Services.
We are an active member of the Children's University.
In 2006 we received an apostolic blessing from Pope Benedict XVI.
