WOW! – Walk On Wednesdays... LET YOUR CHILD WALK at least TEN MINUTES of the journey to and from school. If you don't want to do this every day, WOW means, THINK WEDNESDAYS! Children who walk, cycle, or park and stride, at least once a week receive a badge at the end of the month. If the weather is awful, or you really, really have to drive, use the car park at the end of Alfred Green Close, or drop your child off in Firs Drive – there's a footpath to the school gate. Between 8.30am and 9am, and 3pm to 3.30pm , to reduce congestion and parking which inconveniences local residents, avoid Merttens Drive!
Football – v. Paddox lost 5-0
We've been asked by Mark Pawsey (conservative party parliamentary candidate for Rugby) to help bring some joy to children in Rwanda. If you have a replica football shirt which your child has grown out of, send it to school and we'll make sure it goes to Africa. Another way for children to help children....
We're continually improving facilities in the school and resources for teaching and learning. Using the local firm, Chaters, we've fitted new upvc doors to classrooms, and we've recently installed a data projector and sound system in the hall.
