WOW! – Walk On Wednesdays... LET YOUR CHILD WALK at least TEN MINUTES of the journey to and from school.
If you don’t want to do this every day, WOW means, WALK ON WEDNESDAYS! Every child in the school has a card to record how they travel to and from school. Children who walk, cycle,or park and stride, at least once a week receive a badge at the end of the month.
Over 100 children took part in our CHRISTMAS CONCERT , a very enjoyable evening. The collection raised £180 for the Pattaya Orphanage – thank you!
Our DECORATED CHRISTMAS TREE in St Andrew’s Church was placed third in the popular vote. Congratulations to all involved!
STAFF NEWS – We’re delighted to report the safe delivery of a baby boy to Mrs Hogg (her second child) and a baby girl to Mrs Chisholm (her first child).
We are continually improving the school building and working environment for staff and children. We are currently refurbishing the Quiet Room (our Special Educational Needs resource and administration base), constructing a disabled toilet inside the main building and putting new heaters in the Club Room and Music Room.
Our busy programme of Extra-Curricular Activities resumes straight away this week, including football after school on Fridays. Other after-school clubs are netball (Mondays), cricket (Tuesdays), Polish Club (Mondays and Tuesdays), computers (Tuesdays), SCAMPS dance (Wednesdays), and SCAMPS band and choir (Thursdays). Lunchtime opportunities include cross-country running (occasionally), Boys Choir (Tuesdays), Girls Choir (Wednesdays) and the School Council (Fridays).
Enquiries to the secretaries (543636) who will be able to put you in touch with the appropriate member of staff. Please note that some groups are already full and some have age restrictions.
