NEWS AND SPORT

All are warmly invited to St Marie’s Church for a special Family Mass on Sunday 8th February at 10am.  This Mass will be especially suited to children and their families.

Netball – v. Paddox lost 1-8
Cross-country – four girls and five boys ran in an inter-school race, with Jack Cave, Thomas Hubbard, Kiana Kitching, Eleanor Bridgman and Bethany Spence qualifying for district trials.

The Times newspaper is currently running a “Books For Schools” promotion.  We are registered so do please send us the tokens!

There was an incident last week when two bottles of nail varnish brought in by a child (why?) were smashed by a child (probably a different one) causing considerable extra work for the caretaker and damage to the coats and bags of a few other children.   Parents are asked to be vigilant in checking that what their child brings to school is appropriate and necessary.
